BRACKENGATE 2

MASSMART

Massmart’s cutting-edge centralised distribution centre for the Western Cape is one of the largest, and most impressive of its kind in Cape Town, at just under 53 000 square metres in size. The building boasts a beautiful, high, curved, and seamless roof – which measures over 60 000 square metres – making it one of the largest single roof surfaces in Cape Town.

This striking building is the second biggest distribution centre for the retail giant and marks VDMV’s biggest development to date. VDMV were able to deliver this DC to Massmart in a little over 12 months by employing modern design and construction methods.

GEA

The primely located 5,888m² GEA building features a custom-built workshop with offices and additional associated site works. Construction commenced on 01 April 2017 and the building was completed by 30 April 2018.

‘Engineering for a better world’ is the driving principle connecting GEA’s workforce. Globally, GEA’s plants, processes and components contribute significantly to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, plastics use and food waste in production.
