Ferdie previously held top financial positions, including that of group company secretary and group CFO for Crossroads Distribution, and group financial manager at Trencor Transport.
As a fully qualified chartered accountant (SA), his experience includes strategy, forecasting, analytics, mergers and acquisitions, working capital management, risk management, corporate governance, business structure improvement, supply chain management, auditing and financial forensics.
Ferdie serves as trustee for Rita van der Merwe Familie Trust and the IJ van der Merwe Familie Trust. He is also a director of VDMV Private Equity Fund Proprietary Limited.
