Congratulations to Builders Warehouse, housed in the new River Quarter development, for being awarded Preliminary EDGE certification. This development is targeting an EDGE Certified certification to incorporate and monitor resource efficient design principles throughout the design of the building. The development will save on energy, water and materials. Energy: – 37.73% reduced energy consumption. Water: – 22.73% reduced water consumption. Materials: – 66.00% reduced embodied carbon in construction materials. We look forward to the day where we achieve full EDGE certification.
Builders Warehouse Coming Soon
In December 2024, construction commenced on the new Builders Warehouse at River Quarter, marking the next phase in the ongoing joint venture between VDMV Property Group and Goodfind. Once completed, the Builders Warehouse will offer a retail space spanning approximately 6,600m2. The project aims to achieve EDGE Level 1 certification, demonstrating its commitment to resource efficiency and sustainability, with significant reductions in water and energy consumption. This new store is planned to open in November 2025.
